Constantia Bowling Club welcomes new members.
We understand that joining a bowling club can feel a bit daunting especially if you are new to bowls. That’s why we offer a special onboarding process that includes free lessons for new members and introductions to fellow new bowlers, helping you feel welcome and right at home from the start.
Step 1 – is to choose a membership (see membership types below)
Step 2 – is to download and complete the relevant membership form. This can be returned to the club in-person (please leave it with a member or our barman Kelvin), or via email to admin@constantiabowlingclub.co.za or WhatsApp’d to 0820843176.
Step 3 – New memberships are approved in 48 hours. Please check your email for your welcome letter and your membership invoice.
Step 4 – If you are new to bowling, please book a lesson with one of our coaches. Their details are in your welcome letter. New bowlers typically require 3 lessons before they are cleared to play club games.
Membership Types
We have 3 playing memberships as well as a social membership.
Full playing membership
This membership provides unrestricted playing rights, allowing you to enjoy bowling six days a week. It includes participation in Tabs-in social games (held on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and most Saturday afternoons), Leagues bowls against other clubs during the WP bowling season, Club championships, WP tournaments, and ‘Sunday Funday’ bowls held once a month, which is very festive and popular. Plus, most days you will be able to roll-up and join a practice game after work.
The Full playing membership is R2250 per annum, plus R615 WP affiliation fee.
We offer the following rebates (restricted to one rebate per member) on our Full Playing membership
Married couple – less R250 each.
Over 75 – less R250.

Dual membership
This membership allows members of other bowling clubs to join Constantia Bowling Club. Dual members can play for both of their affiliated clubs. However, when it comes to representing a club in official competitions, like league matches or club championships, they have to choose one club to represent for the season.
The Dual membership is R1125 per annum plus R250 WP admin fee.

Social playing membership
This membership permits bowlers to engage in bowling activities once a week for a duration of three hours. This includes social games, practice sessions, and tabs-in games.
The Social playing membership is R1300 per annum.

Social membership
This membership is for non-bowlers who want to use the club facilities and bar.
